I don’t throw around the word “phenomenal” lightly, but The Villa by MAYA genuinely earned it!! From the moment we sat down to the last spoonful of coconut mousse, this place delivered on every level.
We ordered the jalapeño sangria oysters, Villa Aguachile, bisteca tacos, octopus tostada, patatas bravas, elotes, and the coconut mousse for dessert.
Every single dish was intentional and beautifully executed! The aguachile had this deep, vibrant heat that built slowly and didn’t let go. The octopus tostada was layered in a way that felt almost architectural. The bisteca tacos were simple on paper but the quality of the wagyu spoke for itself. And that coconut mousse? They brought it out on the house, which was such a genuine, thoughtful touch. (But don’t go there expecting free dessert.) It cracked open to reveal a passion fruit center that genuinely surprised me.

The service was the kind you rarely find anymore. We came in on a quiet Thursday afternoon and our server Mirko was outstanding. Not hovering, not absent. Just attentive in the way that actually makes you feel taken care of. Shoutout to him specifically because good service deserves to be named!
I cannot overstate how perfectly the ambiance fits a restaurant of this caliber. It’s easy to find, and the moment you arrive and take in that setting, you understand immediately why everything about this place feels intentional. The atmosphere matched the food, matched the service, matched the experience. That kind of coherence is rare.
Our bill came to $234 (obviously not including the complimentary dessert.) And I would pay that again without hesitation. When the environment is that beautiful, the service that attentive, and the food that good in both quality and taste, you’re not just paying for a meal. You’re paying for an experience that actually delivers. That’s worth every cent!! Some people will agree with me.
